With over 55,000 WordPress plugins available, it’s quite difficult for beginners to find the best WordPress plugins for their need. I’m asking if there is a magic list of “must have WordPress plugins” that all pros use.

Here are the set of plugins that are very useful and I use these in my every WordPress sites

1. YoastSEO

When it comes to on-page search engine optimization, few plugins can shine a candle to the efficacy and functionality of Yoast SEO.

Assuming that you’ve already conducted basic keyword research, the Yoast plugin will guide you step by step through the process of optimizing your new content for the search engines.

From the density of your target keyword to the optimization of your title and h2 tags, to basic readability and metadata, Yoast SEO makes on-page search engine optimization so easy a caveman could do it.

2. Wordfence

With the proliferation of cyber attacks and website hacks in 2018, website security is more important than ever before.

Offering both free and paid version WordFence Security gives you access to an abundance of tools including:

  • WordPress core file integrity verification and repair.
  • Malware, virus, and backdoor scanning.
  • A firewall that includes rate limiting, blocking fake Google crawlers, IP whitelisting, and IP blocking.
  • Real-time traffic that includes Google Crawlers, RSS feed readers, and all other crawlers and bots. (Google Analytics does not include this data.)
  • Email alerts of warnings and critical problems.
  • Brute force hacking protection.
  • And a whole lot more

3. WP Paint

It is one of the best WordPress image editors that is based on an HTML 5 image editor. It comes with an intuitive interface that resembles the common desktop-based photo editors.

There is an extensive array of image editing elements that comes with WP paint. It can manage layers, crop images, set the layer details, and much more. It’s like a small photoshop to your WordPress site.

  • Add custom texts, shapes
  • Photo editor UI that resembles photoshop
  • Rotate, flip & resize images
  • Change the hue of images
  • Adjust the contrast and brightness of the image

4. Akismet Anti-Spam

Askimet Anti-Spam is the only plugin that you’ll need to keep the spammers at bay and maintain the long-term integrity of your site.

The plugin reviews and filters every comment that is shared on your website, providing a status history for each one so that you can determine which comments were found spammy by Askimet or the moderator.

You also can view the number of approved comments for each user, look at the URLs in the comment body, and remove any less-than-useful links you may find.

5. WooCommerce MailChimp Newsletter Discount Plugin

WooCommerce MailChimp Newsletter Discount is an add-on to WooCommerce that will help you gain the email addresses of your visitors by giving them a discount. In this way, the visitor can easily be converted into a potential customer.

6. Google XML Sitemaps

Another best WordPress plugin for SEO is Google XML Sitemaps. It’s a better plugin than anything on the web to index your site with a special XML sitemap. As soon as you activate this plugin, your site gets automatically indexed.

The search engine bots start crawling as fast as possible and retrieve the results more efficiently.

7. Google Analytics by MonsterInsights

Google Analytics by MonsterInsights so far is considered the one-of-its-kind analytics plugin to understand website traffic more accurately. Understanding your audience and work on it is a great way to increase user traffic. Get the plugin installed and start collecting the real-time stats about your website to work on immediately.

8. WP Super Cache

The speed of your website is everything. And with WP Super Cache, you can quickly and painlessly increase your website’s baseline speed.

This free and easy-to-use plugin generates static HTML files from your dynamic WordPress site meaning that the webserver will use that file instead of processing the heavier (and slower) PHP scripts.

9. UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin

Nothing is more frustrating (or terrifying) for the average webmaster than the prospect of losing all of their hard work and content due to a faulty update or accidental coding fluke.

Luckily, with UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup, the world’s highest-rated (2,400+ 5-star reviews and counting) scheduled backup plugin, you can put those fears and frustrations behind you.

All you have to do is click ‘install’ and rest easy as all of your data is seamlessly backed up into the cloud.

So, these were some of the Best WordPress Plugins, I hope it helps. Thanks
